At Headphonesunder100center, we’re always on the lookout for the next great pair of listening devices. Music is an extremely personal experience, and the listening devices you choose should be able to suit your personal needs. While some headphones are able to qualify into the categories of “the good,” others lump into the categories of “the bad.” And since there are so many different headsets brands and models on the market, deciding on which pair is worth your money can be a very difficult task.
When we heard about the release of Treblab X11 into the market, we had to try it out ourselves to give our verdict and honest view of the product. In this Treblab X11 review, we will examine its features, performance, strengths, and weaknesses, to help you decide if the X11 will be your next set of buds.
One of the first things we observed about this headset is its small size and streamlined shape. Sure, we have reviewed several pairs of earplugs that are bigger than the Treblab X11 headphone, so the size is unusual but simply remarkable. Another thing we noticed is the description given to these earbuds by Treblab. Treblab labeled the X11 as “true wireless earphone” which made us wonder what they mean by the tag.
A headset with the “wireless Bluetooth tag” means that it has no cable connecting the headset to the 3.5mm audio jack on your media device so it can produce sound without a cable connection. However, most wireless Bluetooth headphones still feature a cable connection since they have a wire that connects one pair of earbud to the other, to share a battery and a receiver instead of two. But the same cannot be said of the Treblab X11 as the earbuds are truly independent units. There is no cable connecting the earbuds together, so the “true wireless earphone” claim is verified.
Detail Design of Treblab X11
Big ups to Treblab on this one. With size as small as this, the company still managed to come up with a unique design. The headphone features a triangular design and black color with a red logo and red accent along the ear clip and the back of the earpiece that gives it a gorgeous look.
When shopping for a great pair of headphones with awesome performance, the next question that comes to the mind is, will you be able to wear them without any discomfort or irritation to your ears. Treblab took this into consideration in the X11 and created a lightweight design with a small ear clip that helps to keep the earbud in place irrespective of your body movement. The moment you wear the headphone, you’ll hardly notice them due to the tiny amount of pressure it exerts on your ears. So if you are looking for a pair of earbuds to accompany you while running or jogging, you can simply count on the X11.
The sound quality of a pair of headphones is one of the most important aspects to consider when shopping for a great pair of headphones. When we put the Treblab X11 to the test, we noticed that its sound is very peppy. The bass is punchy, and the mid-range is smooth and clear. The earbuds are very harmonic, and we found that pretty amazing. The earbuds are ideal for music with lots of basses, and the chords do not mix up into a mess like many headsets in this price range.
The Treblab X11 comes with the most recent Bluetooth 4.1 EDR. The EDR (Extended Data Rate) Bluetooth connection supports the transmission of high-speed data which has two main benefits. First, you won’t have to worry about cutting out of the sound. The headset can buffer the sound, and work just like the anti-shock technology found in portable CD players. The moment you playback a song, the headset will stream the audio a second ahead of the music you are listening to. If there is a cut out in the connection, there would still be a bit of the transferred data in the buffer, so the song you’re listening to won’t jump or skip.
Secondly, the audio data will be transferred without being compressed. With this, you won’t experience a loss or reduction in the audio quality of your transmitted sound files. The only downside is that you will have to use a modern media device that supports the EDR Bluetooth transmission to enjoy this feature. But any media device or phone manufactured within the year 2012 and above should work fine.
Based on our test, we found that the headphones Bluetooth working range is about 30 feet in ideal situations. We were able to move freely around the room without losing the connection when we connected our phone to the headset. But as soon as the wall starts getting in between us and the audio source, we began to notice the dropouts. So we recommend the headphone for those who want to carry their audio source or phone on them in a backpack or in their pocket.
One of its features that are instrumental in maintaining the durability of this headphone is its lightweight properties. So if you drop the headphone accidentally, it won’t hit the ground hard enough to damage its outer and internal components due to its lightweight nature. The design of the headset also encourages a snugly fit and discourages fall out so you can use it without the fear of damaging it by dropping it on the ground accidentally. The headphones are sealed (IPX4 protection) making them able to withstand moisture or sweat.
The Treblab X11 is not only an audio listening or output device but also a sound input and communication device. It comes with a tiny inbuilt microphone that allows you to receive your calls while you listen to music. To receive calls while wearing the headphone, you only have to touch the logo which is a touch sensitive button to activate the mic. We found that its inbuilt microphone is not great but okay for receiving occasional calls.
So, Should You Invest On The Treblab X11?
Just like we said before, there are so many different brands and models of wireless Bluetooth headset out there on the market, and it can be very difficult to decide which pair is worth investing your hard earned money on. If you find yourself within the first category, the Treblab X11 headphones are perfect for you!
The headset is almost ridiculously affordable not to talk of the effort that went into its production and design and how fantastic its sound quality is.
